I am pleased to welcome you on behalf of myself and my colleagues from the Deanship of Scientific Research and the organizing committee, asking God to provide the most beautiful welcome to the Scientific Research Day in its second developed version, which befits the university's scientific and research reputation, which is witnessing unprecedented local and global growth and prosperity. Through the Scientific Research Day, we aim to integrate the research skill with the educational function of the university and root it in the student's journey during his studies and even after graduation, in addition to enabling the student researcher to meet and discuss with colleagues and experts in the field to identify strengths and areas of development to enhance them and strive to achieve them. On this day, we were also keen to review the ethics of scientific research in partnership with King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology in order to provide our students with professionalism and mastery to acquire knowledge professionally; so that the student of the University of Knowledge is a researcher who has a clear roadmap for the acquisition of knowledge.

This day comes as an extension and interaction with the efforts of our blessed country in seeking to build a sustainable future and a clear vision by institutionalizing scientific research and establishing a solid infrastructure that ensures the preparation of a distinguished generation of national cadres capable of placing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a competitive and honorable position with developed countries.

In conclusion, we offer our deepest thanks and are guided by the guidance of the Prophet Muhammad: "God does not thank those who do not thank people". To His Excellency the President of the University, Dr. Walid bin Hussein Abu Al-Faraj, for his generous support and constant guidance to maintain the university's brilliance in the research field, to Her Excellency Dr. Ibtisam bint Muhammad Al-Madi, Advisor to the President of the University for Scientific Research, and to all the colleagues who contributed to the preparation and organization of this forum, starting from the Supreme Committee for Scientific Research Day and ending with no one, each and every one of them is sincere and perfect.
